Overview

FluteOS Analytics aggregates data from QR Experiences, tableside orders, loyalty programs, marketing campaigns, guest profiles, and team activity into a unified reporting suite. Use it to understand which experiences drive the most revenue, which campaigns convert, how your guest base is growing, and where your biggest opportunities lie.

Key Concepts

Dashboard — The Analytics home page showing summary cards and trend charts for the last 30 days. Configurable by date range and brand filter.

Metric — A single measurable value tracked over time (scans, orders, revenue, profile creations, campaign clicks, opt-outs).

Funnel Report — A step-by-step conversion view for any QR Experience or campaign showing where guests drop off.

Attribution — FluteOS attributes each guest profile creation, loyalty enrollment, and tableside order to the source QR Experience or campaign that drove it.

Prediction — AI-generated forward-looking estimates (next 30/60/90 days) for revenue, guest growth, and churn based on historical patterns.

Revenue Analytics

Found under Analytics > Revenue. Tracks all monetizable activity across FluteOS:

Metric Description
Gross Revenue Total from tableside orders and loyalty redemptions
Average Order Value Gross revenue / number of orders in the period
Revenue per Guest Gross revenue / unique guests with at least one order
Revenue by Item Breakdown of revenue by menu item or category
Revenue by Channel Attributed revenue by QR Experience or campaign source

The Revenue Trend chart shows daily revenue with a 30-day moving average overlay. Use this to identify seasonality and the impact of specific campaigns or events.

Revenue Predictions

The Predictions tab uses historical revenue patterns to generate a 90-day forward projection. The model accounts for:

  • Day-of-week and seasonal patterns
  • Loyalty program momentum (projected redemption vs. earn rate)
  • Scheduled campaign send dates and their estimated conversion lift

Predictions are displayed as a range (low / expected / high) with confidence intervals. They update automatically as new data arrives.

Menu Performance

Found under Analytics > Menu. Surfaces item-level and category-level data for venues using FluteOS digital menus and tableside ordering.

  • Top items by orders — Ranked list with order count and revenue contribution
  • Top items by revenue — Distinct from order count for high-price items
  • Category mix — Share of orders and revenue by menu category (food vs. drinks vs. desserts)
  • Modification frequency — Which modifiers guests apply most often (useful for staff training and inventory prep)
  • Item abandonment — Items viewed but not ordered, indicating potential price or description friction

Use the Heatmap view to see order volume by day-of-week and hour-of-day for any menu item or category — ideal for staffing and prep planning.

Guest Metrics

Found under Analytics > Guests. Shows:

  • New guests per day/week/month
  • Total opted-in guests (SMS and email separately)
  • Churn (opt-outs and disengagement) over the same period
  • Net growth trend
  • Engagement score distribution histogram (identify your highly-engaged cohort vs. re-engagement opportunity)
  • Churn risk distribution (how many guests are Low / Medium / High risk)
  • Sentiment distribution across your guest database

The Heatmap view shows scan and campaign activity by day-of-week and hour-of-day — when your guests are most responsive.

Guest Lifetime Value (LTV) Report

The LTV breakdown shows:

  • Average LTV across all guests
  • LTV by acquisition source (which QR Experience or campaign created the highest-value guests)
  • LTV by loyalty tier
  • LTV trend over time (improving or declining overall guest value)

QR Experience Performance

Found under Analytics > Experiences. For each experience:

Metric Description
Scans Total QR code scans
Starts Guests who began the flow after scanning
Completions Guests who reached the final scene or submission
Captures Profiles created or matched during the flow
Orders Orders submitted (Order flow type only)
Revenue Revenue from completed orders (Order flow type only)
Conversion Rate Captures / Scans

The Funnel View shows a bar chart of scene-by-scene or step-by-step drop-off for Activation and Order flows.

Campaign Analytics and Attribution

Found under Analytics > Campaigns. Covers individual campaign detail and cross-campaign comparison. Key metrics by channel:

  • SMS: delivery rate, click-through rate, opt-out rate, reply rate
  • Email: open rate, click rate, bounce rate, unsubscribe rate
  • Social: impressions, reach, engagement rate, link clicks

Attribution Model

FluteOS uses a first-touch attribution model by default. Each guest's first profile-creating event (QR scan, campaign link click, import) is credited as the acquisition source. Revenue and loyalty activity are then attributed back to that source for LTV-by-source reporting.

Switch to last-touch attribution in Settings > Analytics to credit the most recent campaign interaction instead.

Custom Reports

Found under Analytics > Custom Reports. Build reports from any combination of FluteOS metrics and dimensions:

  1. Click New Report and give it a name.
  2. Select your dimensions (date, brand, experience, campaign, segment, menu category, guest tag).
  3. Select your metrics (scans, orders, revenue, delivery rate, open rate, etc.).
  4. Apply filters to scope the data.
  5. Choose visualization: table, line chart, bar chart, or funnel.
  6. Save the report. Saved reports appear on your Analytics dashboard.

Custom reports can be exported as CSV or scheduled for automatic email delivery on a weekly or monthly basis.

Using Date Filters

All reports support a date range selector. Available presets:

  • Last 7 days
  • Last 30 days
  • Last 90 days
  • Custom range

Reports that show comparisons (e.g., Guest Growth) automatically calculate the equivalent prior period for the comparison delta.

Exporting Reports

Click Export on any report for a CSV download covering all rows in the selected date range. For scheduled automated exports, configure delivery under Settings > Scheduled Reports.

Tips

  • Check the Funnel Report for your highest-traffic experiences monthly. A step with high drop-off often means an asset isn't loading quickly or a question is too demanding.
  • Revenue per Guest is the single most useful leading indicator of program health. If it's declining, dig into LTV by source to find which acquisition channel is bringing in lower-value guests.
  • Engagement Score distribution is the leading indicator of list health. If more than 40% of your guests have scores below 20, prioritize a re-engagement campaign before your next major push.
  • Build a custom report combining revenue by item + campaign attribution to prove which campaigns are actually driving menu sales.
