Brand Activations
Design immersive brand moments, run loyalty programs, launch multi-channel campaigns, build automations, and manage social and email/SMS marketing — all from FluteOS.
Overview
Brand Activations is the guest engagement engine of FluteOS. It combines premium QR-triggered experiences with loyalty programs, multi-channel marketing campaigns, automated guest journeys, and social media management into a single workspace. Whether you're launching a product, running a seasonal promotion, or building long-term guest loyalty, Brand Activations is where that work lives.
Immersive QR Activations
Brand Activations include the Activation QR flow type — full-screen visual experiences designed for premium brand moments: product reveals, distillery storytelling, cocktail recipe builders, and loyalty point reveals.
Activation Scene — A single full-screen visual unit. A complete activation is a sequence of scenes the guest advances through manually or on a timer.
| Scene Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Video | Auto-plays a looping or one-shot video with optional audio |
| Reveal | Animated entrance of a product image, headline, or stat |
| Choice | Guest taps one of 2–4 options; branching logic routes to the next scene |
| Capture | Inline form collecting name, phone, email, and consent |
| Reward | Full-screen coupon, QR code, or digital badge presented as the finale |
See QR Experiences for build instructions. Keep activations under 5 scenes — engagement drops sharply after the 4th scene on mobile.
Loyalty Programs
Go to Brand Activations > Loyalty to configure a points-based or stamp-based loyalty program for your venue or brand.
Loyalty Setup
- Choose a program type: Points (earn on spend or visits) or Stamps (punch-card style).
- Set earning rules — e.g., 1 point per $1 spent, 10 points per visit, or 50 bonus points on first enrollment.
- Define redemption tiers — e.g., 100 points = free cocktail, 500 points = VIP table upgrade.
- Configure enrollment — guests can join via QR Experience capture, tableside order, or direct invitation.
- Publish the program.
Loyalty balances are displayed in the guest's 360° profile and on the digital receipt after each tableside order. Automated milestone messages (e.g., "You're 20 points away from a free drink!") are triggered when guests cross configurable thresholds.
Loyalty Tiers
Create named tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) with automatic tier upgrades based on cumulative points or visit count. Tier benefits can include:
- Bonus point multipliers
- Early access to campaigns
- Exclusive QR experiences
- Custom tags applied to the guest profile for segment targeting
Multi-Channel Campaigns
Go to Brand Activations > Campaigns to create campaigns across email, SMS, and social channels from a unified interface.
| Channel | Capabilities |
|---|---|
| SMS | Blast, drip, and trigger messages to opted-in guests |
| Branded templates, drip sequences, event announcements | |
| Social | Scheduled posts to Instagram, Facebook, and Google Business Profile |
Campaign Builder
- Click New Campaign and choose your channels (SMS, email, social, or any combination).
- Select a segment as the audience (for SMS and email).
- Use the drag-and-drop email builder or the SMS message composer.
- For social posts, compose content and upload media for each connected platform.
- Schedule or activate immediately.
- Monitor performance in the Campaign Analytics dashboard.
Campaign Analytics
Every campaign has a detail page showing channel-by-channel performance:
- Email: open rate, click rate, bounces, unsubscribes
- SMS: delivery rate, click rate, opt-outs, replies
- Social: impressions, reach, engagement, link clicks
Use the Compare view to benchmark up to five campaigns side-by-side and identify your highest-performing content formats.
Automations
Go to Brand Activations > Automations to build event-triggered guest journeys that run continuously without manual intervention.
Building an Automation
- Click New Automation and give it a name.
- Set the Trigger — the event that starts the journey:
- Guest scans a QR Experience
- Guest joins a loyalty program
- Guest reaches a loyalty milestone
- Guest tag added or removed
- Guest churn risk changes to High
- Date-based: birthday, anniversary of first visit
- Add Actions — steps the automation executes in sequence:
- Send SMS
- Send email
- Add or remove a tag
- Enroll in a loyalty program
- Award bonus points
- Create a staff task
- Add Delays between actions (e.g., wait 1 day, wait 1 hour after trigger).
- Add Conditions to branch the path (e.g., if guest has tier = Gold, send VIP message; else send standard message).
- Activate the automation.
Common Automation Templates
| Template | Trigger | Actions |
|---|---|---|
| Post-visit follow-up | QR scan | Wait 2 hours → Send SMS thank-you with loyalty balance |
| Birthday reward | Birthday date | Send email with 100 bonus points + redeemable offer |
| Re-engagement | Churn risk = High | Send SMS → Wait 7 days → If no interaction, send email → Tag re-engagement-attempted |
| Loyalty milestone | Points reach 500 | Send SMS congratulations + redemption code → Update tier |
| New guest welcome | First scan | Send welcome SMS → Wait 1 day → Send onboarding email |
Social Media Management
Go to Brand Activations > Social to manage your connected social channels.
- Connect Instagram, Facebook (Page), and Google Business Profile under Settings > Integrations.
- Compose posts with text, images, and video — preview each platform's rendering before publishing.
- Schedule posts up to 90 days in advance.
- Monitor comments and reviews in the unified Inbox.
- Respond to reviews directly from FluteOS without switching platforms.
Tips
- Pair loyalty enrollment with every QR ordering flow — guests are most receptive to joining a loyalty program immediately after a positive interaction.
- Use automation conditions to protect your best guests from over-messaging. Add a condition "skip if received a message in the last 7 days" before every SMS action.
- Campaign analytics and loyalty data feed into Analytics for full attribution reporting.
